NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which started in 2018. It is organized and administered on the National Level by National Testing Agency. Upper age limit removed

As per the judgement of Supreme Court, the NEET has removed the upper age limit for appearing in the entrance examination.

Date of examination, 2019

The NEET is scheduled to be held on 5th May 2019.

Admit card

The Admit cards will be available on 15th April 2019.

The results

The results for NEET 2019 are likely to be released on and around 5th June 2019.

Counselling is expected to start by the second week of June.

Marks distribution

The section of biology holds 360 marks, chemistry holds 180 marks, physics holds 180 marks.

Total questions asked are 180.

Biology – 90 Questions
Total number of seats available- 90,000
Total number of students appearing for the exam- 12 Lakh (approximately)

Marking Scheme- +4 for the right answer and -1 for the wrong answer. 0 marks for not attempting the question.
NEET test series has been introduced by NTA, which will give you basic insights into the test to be conducted. You can go through the test series for better preparation for the final day.
The NTA has a specified dress code for entering the exam hall. It allows for simple clothes only. No watches, no caps, no boots or heels for girls, jewellery or any other fashionable items are allowed inside the examination hall. The cut off will depend on the performance of the candidates appearing for the examination. However, the minimum cut off percentile has been decided by the NEET authorities.
